Even though I'm the candidate, I consider this the people's campaign. I am inviting you to be a part of the change that Iowa desperately needs. If you have a desire to make 2026 the year that the people's voice is finally heard in the state legislature, we welcome your participation in this campaign.
Issues I'll Focus On
The corporate-first policies of the Republican-led legislature have too often left Iowa families and workers behind. We need to balance the needs of our people with the interests of out-of-state businesses and large corporations.
People Over Profit
The Iowa GOP have stood by as healthcare facilities have closed across the state, our water is polluted with cancer-causing nitrates, and our food supply is contaminated. I will fight for a healthier Iowa that protects families and children.
A Healthier Iowa
You shouldn't have to win the Lottery to make it in Iowa. Sadly, the cost of living in Iowa continues to increase while the rights of workers to earn a livable wage continues to be attacked by Republicans. I will fight for the rights of working families in Iowa.
Restore Worker's Rights
Since Reynolds and the GOP took over, Iowa's national standing in education has fallen miserably in favor of expensive private schools, leaving thousands of children behind. We must fix this problem now and provide our kids a brighter future.

I'm Kendra Haug
Born in Minnesota and raised in Northeast Iowa, I learned hard work early and carried it through college and community work in Des Moines. A paralegal and foster/adoptive parent to four children, I’ve seen how broken systems impact families. I’m running to fight for fair wages, clean water, strong schools, and an Iowa that works for everyone.
