People Over Profits
The corporate-first policies of the Republican-led legislature have too often left Iowa families, workers, and small businesses behind. Tax breaks and incentives for large, out-of-state corporations have come at the expense of fair wages, strong public services, and local communities. Iowa deserves policies that put working people first and ensure economic growth benefits everyone, not just powerful special interests.
A Healthier Iowa
The Iowa GOP have stood by while rural hospitals and healthcare facilities have closed, making it harder for families to get the care they need. At the same time, our water has been polluted with cancer-causing nitrates and other contaminants, and our food supply faces increasing safety concerns. I will fight for a healthier Iowa by protecting clean water, strengthening local healthcare, and putting the health of our families and children first.
Restore Worker's Rights
You shouldn’t have to win the lottery to get ahead in Iowa. Yet the cost of living keeps rising while Republican lawmakers continue to weaken workers’ rights and make it harder to earn a livable wage. Families are feeling squeezed by housing, childcare, healthcare, and everyday expenses. I will fight for working Iowans by standing up for fair wages, strong labor protections, and an economy that rewards hard work—not just the well-connected.
Protect Public Education
Since Governor Reynolds and the GOP took control, Iowa’s national standing in public education has fallen, while public dollars have been redirected toward expensive private schools. This shift has left thousands of students with fewer resources, larger class sizes, and reduced opportunities. Iowa’s children deserve better. We must reinvest in strong public schools, support teachers, and ensure every child—no matter their ZIP code—has access to a high-quality education and a brighter future.
